Patti is a licensed marriage and family therapist with additional certification in nurturing parenting, play therapy, and trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy for children.
She has taught parenting groups, was clinical director and lead clinician for parents and children in a therapeutic child development center, led a group and created a workbook for new mothers in a maternity shelter, and has successfully provided nurturing, effective, attachment-based skills for parents seeking reunification with their children following abusive or neglectful parenting.
Patti has helped many parents successfully gain new skills, strategies and understanding. She loves to hear parents happily report their success after trying a new skill. She finds great joy in hearing about the improved relationships parents have with their children as they implement their new skills.
Currently, she enjoys providing parent coaching and dyadic attachment-based therapies in her office in Oceanside, CA.
